Ford becomes official partner of Czech Football Association

Ford Motor Company will serve as an official partner of the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) starting in August 2026 under a three‑year agreement. The deal provides a mixed fleet of vehicles – including hybrid Ford Kuga, fully electric Ford Explorer, pickup Ford Ranger, and a plug‑in hybrid Ford Tourneo Custom – to serve the senior national teams, regional staff and youth programmes.

The partnership, promoted with the slogan “We put Czech football in motion,” is intended to support the association’s work with children, youth training, coach education and referee development. FAČR chairman David Trunda highlighted the focus on improving conditions from the youngest categories up to the senior squads. Ford Czech Republic manager Libor Beneš said the collaboration also aims to contribute to long‑term changes in Czech football’s environment. The new head coach of the senior team, Spaniard Santi Denia, will also benefit from the vehicle support.

The agreement replaces Hyundai as the association’s automotive partner and reflects Ford’s broader commitment to mobility and sustainability in Czech sport.
