Ford expands Ranger lineup with PHEV and diesel models

Ford is expanding its Ranger lineup in the Greek and European markets with new technological and commercial offerings. The Ford Ranger Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) introduces the ‘Pro Power Onboard’ system, which allows the vehicle to function as a mobile generator. Capable of delivering up to 6.9 kW of power, the system can supply electricity to professional tools, construction equipment, or heaters, potentially reducing fuel consumption by up to 50% compared to conventional portable generators once the engine reaches operating temperature.

Additionally, the diesel-powered Ford Ranger XLT is available, featuring a 3.0L V6 EcoBlue engine producing 240 hp and 600 Nm of torque. This model is equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an e-4WD electronic all-wheel-drive system. The XLT offers a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg and a payload of approximately 1 tonne. Ford is also providing financing options for the XLT, including a 2.99% interest rate through Ford Finance.
