Ford Field crew injured during Ed Sheeran stage dismantling

Six members of a production crew were injured during the stage dismantling process following an Ed Sheeran concert at Ford Field in Detroit. The incident occurred on Saturday, August 29, around 11:00 PM local time.

According to emergency services, the accident involved a forklift near a vehicle ramp in a stadium tunnel. The workers were reportedly heading toward a break area when they were struck by heavy equipment. While all six individuals were transported to local hospitals, none sustained life-threatening injuries. Two workers suffered more serious injuries, while the remaining four were reported to be in stable condition.

Ford Field confirmed that one of the injured was a member of their own staff. The stadium management has launched a comprehensive investigation and is cooperating with local authorities and event production partners to determine the exact cause of the accident.
