Ford introduces BlueCruise semi-autonomous driving to Poland

Ford has introduced its BlueCruise technology to the Polish market, allowing for semi-autonomous driving on national motorways. The system, which holds SAE Level 2+ autonomy, enables drivers to navigate highways at speeds up to 130 km/h without keeping their hands on the steering wheel, though drivers must remain vigilant and ready to take control at any moment.

BlueCruise functions as an advanced active cruise control that manages acceleration, braking, and steering. While it is available on all Polish motorways, it is currently not authorized for use on expressways. The technology is being rolled out across various Ford models, including the Puma, Kuga, Ranger, and Mustang Mach-E. The system utilizes cameras and sensors to monitor both the road conditions and the driver's attentiveness to ensure safety and legal compliance.
