Ford issues multiple vehicle recalls for engine and safety components

Ford is conducting several vehicle recalls following reports from the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA). One major action involves the inspection and potential replacement of diesel particulate filters (DPF) and the recalibration of DPF regeneration. This affects various models including the B-Max, Eco Sport, Fiesta, Tourneo Connect, and Transit Connect.

Additionally, over 628,000 Ford Bronco units worldwide are subject to a recall due to a fire risk caused by premature wear of a wiring harness in the engine compartment, which could lead to short circuits. In Germany, approximately 1,343 Broncos are affected.

Other recalls include a check of the windshield wiper system for approximately 1,430 Mustangs in Germany to prevent communication issues with the control unit in freezing temperatures. These measures are being managed through authorized service partners.
