Automotive sector in Brazil sees new off-road models and Rally dos Sertões activity

The Brazilian automotive market is seeing increased activity in the pickup truck segment, highlighted by new model releases and major off-road events. Mitsubishi has launched the Triton Savana Sertões, a limited edition special series priced at R$ 339,990. Created to celebrate the Rally dos Sertões, the vehicle features exclusive Concrete Gray paint with orange accents, skid plates, rock sliders, a snorkel, and specialized off-road tires.

Simultaneously, the Rally dos Sertões 2026 is currently underway, traversing approximately 4,020 kilometers across the states of Goiás, Bahia, and Tocantins. The competition recently passed through the Complexo da Bahia Farm Show in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, providing support structures for participants in various categories including cars, motorcycles, and UTVs.

In the consumer segment, the Ford Maverick Tremor is being positioned as a versatile option that blends SUV-like comfort with pickup functionality. Equipped with a 2.0 Turbo EcoBoost engine producing 253 hp and 4WD, the model targets users seeking a vehicle capable of both daily urban commuting and light off-road use.
