Ford Ranger launch in Greece adds diesel and plug‑in hybrid options

Ford Pro has expanded the Greek‑market lineup of the popular Ford Ranger pickup by offering two power‑train choices. The traditional 3.0 L V6 EcoBlue diesel delivers 240 hp and 600 Nm of torque, while the new plug‑in hybrid combines a 2.3 L EcoBoost gasoline engine with a 75 kW electric motor for a combined 281 hp and 697 Nm, and can travel up to 50 km on electric power alone with home‑plug charging.

Both variants feature a 10‑speed automatic gearbox, four‑wheel drive with central and rear differential locks, and a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 kg. The hybrid version also includes Pro Power Onboard, allowing the battery to supply electricity to tools and equipment. Ford markets the diesel model toward professional drivers covering long distances, and the hybrid model toward users seeking lower fuel and energy costs for daily duties.
