Ford Mustang events: Mustang Week 2026 begins and 2027 racing schedule released

Mustang Week 2026 has commenced in Charlotte, North Carolina, with an opening kick-off party at Mac’s Speed Shop in Concord. The event features a variety of Ford Mustang models, ranging from stock vehicles to highly modified versions. The week includes scheduled activities at K1 Speed Concord, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and zMAX Dragway.

Separately, Ford Racing has announced the 2027 Mustang Challenge North America schedule. The IMSA-sanctioned one-make series will consist of 12 races across six events, beginning January 22-24 at Daytona International Speedway. Other scheduled stops include Sebring International Raceway, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, VIRginia International Raceway, and Circuit of The Americas, concluding at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in October. The schedule includes a mid-season pause to allow competitors to participate in the Mustang Challenge Spa Invitational in Belgium.
