Ford Racing completes first Hypercar test at Paul Ricard

Ford Racing has completed the first testing phase for its new Hypercar project at the Paul Ricard circuit in France. The three-day shakedown involved over 1,000 kilometers of driving, marking a significant milestone in the team’s roadmap toward its official debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar category in 2027.

The testing phase initiates an extensive global development program. Following the sessions in southern France, the team is scheduled to conduct simulator testing in North Carolina, followed by track tests in Portimão, Portugal. The itinerary also includes sessions at Silverstone, Monza, Imola, and Aragon, before returning to the United States for testing at the Circuit of the Americas and Sebring.
