Stellantis recalls 7,282 Jeep and Ram vehicles in Brazil
Stellantis has announced a recall in Brazil affecting 7,282 vehicles across its Jeep and Ram brands due to distinct safety concerns.
For Jeep models, specifically the Wrangler (2021–2025) and Gladiator Rubicon (2022–2025), a total of 1,472 units are involved. The recall addresses a potential electrical circuit failure in the electro-hydraulic power steering pump, which in extreme cases could lead to a fire, posing risks of material damage or physical injury.
The Ram recall involves 5,810 units of the Ram 1500 (manufactured between 2021 and 2026). This campaign targets a defect in the rear seat belt anchoring system, which may fail to properly retain occupants during sudden braking or accidents.
Stellantis advises owners of the affected vehicles to schedule free inspections and repairs at authorized dealerships. The service is expected to take approximately 30 minutes.
