Ford Raptor vehicles showcase off-road performance and tire upgrades

Ford's Raptor lineup continues to serve as a primary platform for off-road performance testing and customization. A 2013 Ford F-150 Raptor was recently outfitted with 37-inch Yokohama GEOLANDAR X-AT G016 tires, an upgrade from the factory-standard 35-inch set. The X-AT series is designed as an ‘extreme all-terrain’ tire, intended to bridge the gap between standard all-terrain and mud-terrain tires by providing increased off-road capability without the excessive road noise typically associated with mud-terrain models.

Additionally, the 2026 US-version of the Ford Ranger Raptor is highlighted as a compact performance pickup. It features a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 405 hp and 583 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with Fox shock absorbers and 33-inch BFGoodrich KO3 tires to manage diverse terrains. While the Ranger Raptor focuses on off-road agility, the base Ranger model offers higher towing capacities and an optional 315 hp twin-turbo V6 engine.
