Ford reaches one million Ford Puma production milestone

Ford has reached a major production milestone with the manufacturing of its one-millionth Ford Puma. The milestone vehicle is an all-electric Puma Gen-E, finished in Electric Yellow.

British customer Karen Horton, who was unaware her order would be the millionth unit, traveled to the Ford Otosan plant in Craiova, Romania, to witness the production process. Over two days, she observed the assembly from the bare chassis to the installation of the battery, electric motor, and seating.

Horton, whose family has owned 27 Ford vehicles, chose the electric model following a recommendation from her son, a Ford engineer. She noted that the transition to electric has significantly reduced her monthly transportation costs compared to her previous internal combustion engine vehicle.
