Ford recalls F-150 pickups in Australia

Ford Australia has issued a recall for 32 F-150 full-size pickup trucks produced between 2021 and 2022. The recall is due to a software issue within the Powertrain Control Module that may prevent the On-Board Diagnostics system from detecting a faulty intake air temperature sensor.

As a result of this defect, the vehicles are not compliant with Australian Design Rule 79/00 regarding emission control for light vehicles. Ford intends to contact owners to arrange for rectification work at no cost.
