Ford to host Veterans Day racing event at Daytona

Ford Motor Company, in partnership with NASCAR, Blue Star Families, IMSA, and Historic Sportscar Racing, has announced the inaugural Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic. Scheduled for November 11, 2026, at Daytona International Speedway, the event will combine motorsports, live music, and charitable support for military veterans and their families.

The centerpiece of the event features six racing teams, each representing a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, competing in Mustang Dark Horse R spec racers on the Daytona road course. The driver lineup includes prominent names such as Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Logan Sargeant, Noah Gragson, Frankie Muniz, and Ben Hobson.

Beyond the racing, the Zac Brown Band is set to headline a post-race concert. The event also aims to raise funds for military-focused nonprofits through the Proud to Honor Fund, powered by GlobalGiving. Beneficiaries include Blue Star Families, Camp Southern Ground, DAV, TAPS, Team Rubicon, and the Travis Manion Foundation. Additionally, Ford Philanthropy has already distributed 1,000 complimentary tickets to eligible military and veteran families.
