Foreigner announces 2027 tour dates and deluxe album reissue

Rock band Foreigner has announced an extensive concert schedule for 2027, including a four-show run in the New York area during April and May to celebrate the group's 50th anniversary. The 2027 tour will also feature more than a dozen shows in the United States starting in February, an unplugged run in the United Kingdom and Europe in April, and several European dates in October.

In addition to tour announcements, the band is releasing a deluxe edition of their 1979 album, ‘Head Games’, on October 30. The reissue will be available on CD/Blu-ray and vinyl, featuring a remaster and remix overseen by bassist Jeff Pilson and Wyn Davis. The super deluxe set includes the original 10-track studio album, outtakes, alternate versions, and a previously unreleased concert recording from the 1979 Rochester Community War Memorial tour.

The current lineup features vocalist Luis Maldonado, bassist Jeff Pilson, keyboardist Michael Bluestein, lead guitarist Bruce Watson, drummer Chris Frazier, and guitarist John Roth. This follows the departure of former frontman Kelly Hansen and the recent Parkinson's diagnosis of founding member Mick Jones.
