Forensic expert challenges Jeffrey Epstein suicide ruling

Forensic expert Michael Freeman is challenging the official conclusion that financier Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide by hanging in his prison cell in 2019. After reviewing a complete autopsy file provided by Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, Freeman plans to present a new scientific analysis at University College London (UCL) on November 16.

Freeman’s investigation includes a biomechanical analysis of neck injuries to determine if they align with the hanging mechanism described in official reports. He has highlighted several irregularities in the original investigation, such as the lack of crime scene photographs of the body, the fact that the noose used was neither preserved nor examined, and the delay in a prison guard interviewing with investigators.

While official U.S. authorities maintain that Epstein died by suicide and have found no evidence of foul play, Freeman intends to publicly release the documentation supporting his independent findings.
