Forensic Medicine Institute utilizes AI to ensure test accuracy

Ahmet Bensiz, Vice President of the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK), stated that the institution utilizes the latest global technologies and artificial intelligence to ensure the accuracy of its forensic tests. Speaking at the 21st International Forensic Medicine Days Congress in Antalya, Bensiz emphasized that the institute is among the best users of technology, specifically noting the use of AI in evaluating samples and data.

Bensiz highlighted that the institute holds international accreditation and undergoes regular audits by independent bodies. He noted that the combination of advanced technological devices and highly qualified personnel provides a significant advantage. Addressing recent allegations regarding the accuracy of reports in drug-related operations in Istanbul, Bensiz expressed confidence in the institution's results, stating that the probability of error is extremely low due to rigorous verification processes, such as multiple checks in the chemistry department.
