Forest fire in Mudurnu, Bolu, controlled by emergency teams

A forest fire broke out in the Çepni village of Mudurnu, Bolu, after flames emerged from a garden of a residence for unknown reasons. Driven by strong winds, the fire spread to nearby fields and forested areas.

Local villagers and emergency teams, including the gendarmerie, Forestry Directorate, and fire department, worked together to control and extinguish the blaze before it could expand further. During the aftermath, journalist İlhami Çetin rescued a turtle from the ashes and moved it to a safe green area. However, another turtle was found dead, having been unable to escape the flames.
