Forest fires contained in Colombia and extinguished by rain in Spain

The fire had previously crossed into the municipality of Lena, Asturias, necessitating a massive response involving over 40 resources, including helicopters, water bombers, and ground crews. After being declared controlled on September 7, the recent rains finally eliminated the remaining active hotspots.
