Benjamin Charles Parker found dead after quintuple homicide in Oregon
Authorities are investigating a quintuple homicide after the bodies of five people and several domestic animals were discovered on a rural property near Forest Grove, Oregon. Emergency responders initially arrived at the scene early Saturday morning to address a reported vehicle fire, only to find the remains of the five individuals and multiple animals.
Benjamin Charles Parker, 36, has been identified as the suspect in the killings. Parker was found dead inside a vehicle in Enumclaw, Washington, on Sunday. Police believe his death was an apparent suicide. Investigators noted that Parker knew the victims, though a specific motive or the exact nature of their relationship has not been disclosed.
Washington County Sheriff Caprice Massey described the case as exceptionally complex, noting she had not witnessed a scene of this nature in her 22-year career.
