Forest Metal Festival scheduled for August 27, 2026 in Bad Wörishofen, Germany

The Forest Metal Festival will take place as an open‑air event in Bad Wörishofen, Allgäu, on 27 August 2026. Organisers confirm tickets have been printed and the festival grounds will be reconfigured with an expanded food offering.

The 2025 edition was held indoors in Kaufbeuren; despite some setbacks—including a delayed excavator, a band cancellation and volunteer shortages—the event was deemed a success and received positive visitor feedback. Building on that experience, the 2026 festival is expected to attract more attendees, with a larger stage area and improved technical facilities.
