Fatal accidents reported in Romania and Moldova

Several fatal accidents and workplace incidents have been reported across Romania and Moldova.

In Curtea de Argeș, Romania, a woman approximately 60 years old died after being struck by a car. Emergency responders performed resuscitation efforts, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

In Botoșani, Romania, a 46-year-old forestry engineer died after being struck in the head by a falling branch. The incident occurred within a military unit while the man was participating in tree cleaning activities during his time off. The accident is under investigation by military security and health services.

In Moldova, a 63-year-old man was killed near Sîngera after being hit by a Citroen while crossing a road outside of a pedestrian crossing in low visibility conditions.
