Forge FC advances to Canadian Championship final

Forge FC has advanced to the 2026 Canadian Championship final after defeating FC Supra du Quebec 1-0 at Hamilton Stadium. The victory gives Forge a 2-1 aggregate win in the two-legged semifinal series.

Ben Paton scored the decisive goal in the 26th minute, coming off the bench to replace captain Kyle Bekker. Bekker sustained a suspected ACL injury during the match, which could impact the team as they pursue a domestic treble.

Forge FC will face a Major League Soccer opponent in the final on October 21. The opponent will be determined by the semifinal matchup between CF Montreal and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
