Forge FC defeats Pacific FC to reclaim CPL lead

Forge FC regained first place in the CPL Shield race following a 2-0 victory over Pacific FC at Hamilton Stadium. The match was notably interrupted by a lightning delay lasting more than two hours.

Goals from Ismael Oketokoun and Aghilas Sadek secured the win for Forge FC. Oketokoun scored shortly before the hour mark after receiving a pass from Dan Nimick. The match was suspended for weather conditions just five minutes after the opening goal.

With this win, Forge FC maintains a one-point lead over Cavalry FC. Pacific FC remains at the bottom of the league table, having not won a match in 18 appearances across all competitions this season.
