Forgotten Tales to release ‘Other Times’ album in February 2027

Quebec-based power metal band Forgotten Tales has announced the release of their new album, ‘Other Times’, scheduled for February 12, 2027, via Rockshots Records. The release marks a return for the group following an extended hiatus.

The ten-track album aims to reconnect with the band’s melodic power metal foundations while adopting a more direct, guitar-driven sound. The music incorporates traditional elements such as fast riffing, double-kick drumming, and layered choirs, alongside subtle progressive influences. Lyrically, the album explores themes of resilience, personal growth, and the passage of time, covering topics such as anxiety, loss, misinformation, and human development.

The band has released the first single, ‘A Thousand Lies’, which features a fast-paced, symphonic style. The track addresses the impact of misinformation and the responsibility of individuals in spreading unverified claims. The album features vocal performances by Sonia Pineault, supported by the guitar work of Martin Desharnais and Marc-Olivier Lavoie.
