Forka Films releases teaser for Empat Musim Pertiwi

Forka Films has released the official teaser trailer for the film ‘Empat Musim Pertiwi’, directed by Kamila Andini and produced by Ifa Isfansyah. The project reunites the creative team behind the series ‘Gadis Kretek’, including cinematographer Batara Goempar and production designer Dita Gambiro.

The story follows Pertiwi, played by Putri Marino, who returns to her hometown after 20 years. Her homecoming is marked by tension and suspicion rather than a warm welcome; she faces prejudice from locals and reluctance from her own parents. The teaser suggests Pertiwi carries significant trauma, including a past period spent behind bars, as she navigates a sense of alienation in the place she was born.

Director Kamila Andini described the character as a woman who is not afraid of anything due to the immense trauma she has endured. The film utilizes Bromo as its primary setting.
