Forlì: 27-year-old man killed in motorcycle accident

Pietro De Lorenzi, a 27-year-old barista from Forlì, died following a motorcycle accident in the early hours of Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 4:20 AM on the Via Emilia, near the Fiori roundabout in the Villanova district of Forlì.

De Lorenzi was riding a BMW R80GS while returning home from his job at a brewery in Faenza. According to preliminary investigations by the Forlì traffic police, the motorcyclist lost control while entering the roundabout, after his wheel reportedly struck the outer curb of the entry lane. The impact caused him to be thrown violently onto the asphalt, and his helmet was broken during the fall.

Emergency responders from the 118 service arrived at the scene but could not revive him. The Forlì Public Prosecutor's Office has been informed, and authorities are continuing to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
