Forlì Airport industrial plan targets 220 million euro investment

The Uil trade union, representing the Cesena, Forlì, and Ravenna branches, has called for a unified strategic approach to maximize the benefits of the new industrial plan for the Forlì airport. The project, aimed at 2030, involves 220 million euros in investments across five key areas, including terminal expansion and the creation of a new aeronautical maintenance hub in the southern area.

If realized, the development could create up to 1,000 new jobs and establish one of the region's leading air and aeronautical transport districts. Union leaders emphasized that for the project to successfully boost the local economy—including logistics, tourism, and services—there must be a 'iron pact' between the three provincial capitals and a coordinated regional management system.
