Forlì hosts event to combat violence against women

As part of the Buon Vivere Festival, an event titled ‘Il coraggio della gentilezza’ (The Courage of Kindness) will be held at the San Giacomo auditorium in Forlì on Wednesday, September 23. The meeting focuses on the fight against violence against women, centered on the testimony of Alessandra Cuevas. Cuevas, currently the president of the association named after her mother, Teresa Buonocore, will share her story of how her mother was killed by the individual her daughter had previously reported and successfully convicted.

The discussion, led by journalist Luca Pagliari, will feature Claudio Mastromattei, the Questore, and Luca Panzavolta, CEO of Cia-Conad. The dialogue aims to explore how communities can build a culture of respect and prevention through education and shared responsibility among institutions, schools, and citizens. The initiative is organized by the Valore Condiviso aps association as part of the ‘Progetto rispetto!’ program, involving collaborations with Fondazione Conad Ets and the Polizia di Stato to promote awareness among new generations.
