Forlimpopoli Council Approves 2026 Budget with Surplus and New Investments
The municipal council of Forlimpopoli approved the 2026 general budget settlement on 28 July, confirming a balanced fiscal position and a surplus of more than €4.2 million as of 30 June 2026. The positive cash flow and effective recovery of property taxes (IMU) allow the city to fund new projects without raising taxes.
Key allocations include €200,000 for road resurfacing in the Sant’Andrea and San Leonardo districts, €73,000 for accessibility upgrades at Teatro Verdi, enhancements to the municipal video‑surveillance system, streaming equipment for council sessions, and cooling installations in preschool facilities. Additional resources support the renovation of Via Saffi, school cafeteria upgrades, and other strategic interventions.
The budget also utilizes an administrative surplus of €807,744.89, reinforcing service continuity and financing the outlined investments.
