Former Aschheim Mayor Thomas Glashauser dies in fatal accident
Thomas Glashauser, the former mayor of Aschheim, has died following a fatal accident during a potato harvest in Kirchheim near Munich. The 51-year-old reportedly fell from a harvesting vehicle and was run over. Despite resuscitation efforts and being transported to a clinic by helicopter, he passed away.
In a separate incident in the Munich area, Christian Bauer, the mayor of Grafing, died unexpectedly at the age of 57. Bauer collapsed during a meeting of the construction committee at the town hall. Emergency measures were taken, but he could not be saved.
