Former Beatles Staffer Remembers 1969 Abbey Road Sessions
Merle Frimark describes his experience working for The Beatles in 1969. After being hired through an interview arranged by Derek Taylor, he joined the inner circle that included Mal Evans, Peter Brown and Freda Kelly. In July 1969 he was granted a rare opportunity to observe the band at Abbey Road Studios as they recorded their final collective project. Frimark later reflected on how this brief period shaped his subsequent career in the music industry.
