Former Clemson players earn top NFL rookie grades in Week 1

Three former Clemson University standouts have earned high rankings from Pro Football Focus (PFF) following their NFL Week 1 debuts. Wide receiver Antonio Williams led the rookie class with a 91.2 grade, recording four catches for 64 yards and a touchdown for the Philadelphia Eagles. Defensive tackle Peter Woods followed with an 83.2 grade during the Kansas City Chiefs' victory over the Denver Broncos.

Offensive tackle Blake Miller, selected 17th overall by the Detroit Lions, earned a 74.7 grade. While Miller’s performance was noted as the highest among rookie offensive tackles, his Week 2 availability has been impacted. The Lions ruled him out for their game against the Buffalo Bills due to a knee injury, ending a streak in which he never missed a game during his four-year collegiate career at Clemson.
