Former Deportivo Cali President Claims Witchcraft Objects Found at Club Facilities

Former Deportivo Cali president Humberto Arias Jr. said his administration uncovered objects he linked to witchcraft in several club locations, including the Pance training complex, the north office, the house of concentration, the team bus, locker rooms and the north gate of the Palmaseca stadium. He told the sports program Deportes sin Tapujos that “obviously, we found many strange things” and suggested the items reflected “enemies inside Cali,” echoing a comment previously made by former player Mario Alberto Yepes. Arias also noted that unusual items were discovered in the bus after a crash involving the vehicle. No evidence has been presented to tie the alleged objects to the club’s on‑field performance, and the club continues its sporting projects, such as negotiating the signing of striker Carlos Bacca.
