Former Ghana MP Sarah Adwoa Safo Says Father’s Funeral Date Approved by Asantehene

Former Dome‑Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo announced that the burial of her father, Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo, will proceed on July 31 as previously scheduled and dismissed any suggestion that she could alter the date.

Safo explained that the funeral arrangements were made after consulting the Manhyia Palace because her father belonged to the Ashanti royal family. She said the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, gave final approval for the date and urged anyone seeking a change to address the traditional authority directly.
