Former Gwinnett County deputy arrested in Georgia child abuse investigation

A former Gwinnett County deputy and a woman have been arrested following a SWAT team search in Butts County, Georgia. Rylee Conner Willis faces multiple charges, including rape, aggravated sodomy, statutory rape, child molestation, aggravated assault, and cruelty to children. Authorities noted that Willis was employed as a deputy with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office during a portion of the alleged offenses.

Abigail Elaine Davidson was also arrested and faces charges of trafficking persons for sexual servitude, cruelty to children, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and being a party to a crime of child molestation. Sheriff Gary Long stated that additional victims have been identified and more charges are expected as the investigation continues.
