Former Madhya Pradesh Minister Paras Jain Passes Away

Former Madhya Pradesh minister and senior BJP leader Paras Chandra Jain died on 3 August at a private hospital in Indore. Known as “Paras Pahalwan”, he had held portfolios for forest, school education, food civil supply, consumer protection and energy, and served five terms as an MLA from Ujjain North.

Central Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan mourned his death on X, describing Jain as a devoted RSS volunteer and loyal party worker. BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal and MP Anil Firozia also expressed their condolences, noting his long‑standing service to the people of Madhya Pradesh.
