Ahman Green Announces Early-Onset Parkinson’s Diagnosis
Former Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green, 49, revealed that he was diagnosed with early‑onset Parkinson’s disease in January 2025. The diagnosis was disclosed publicly on the “Go Long” podcast hosted by Tyler Dunne after Green had first shared it privately with family and close friends. Green described early symptoms such as foot twitching during sleep, short‑term memory loss and occasional sleepwalking. He said he is managing the disease with medication, a “super clean” diet and regular exercise, stating “I’m ahead of it right now.”
Green is the franchise’s all‑time rushing leader with 8,322 yards for the Packers and 9,205 career rushing yards, and he played 12 NFL seasons, earning four Pro Bowl selections.
