Former participants of Farmer Wants a Wife share personal struggles

Former participants of the Polish reality show ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ have shared personal accounts of family tragedy and relationship difficulties.

Mikołaj, a participant from the fourth season, revealed that his 47-year-old son passed away suddenly from a heart attack four years ago. During that same period, his family also lost his daughter-in-law and mother-in-law. Additionally, Mikołaj suffered from sepsis, which required a two-month hospital stay.

In a separate account, Dorota, who appeared in the tenth season, addressed her breakup with Waldemar Gilas. Following a period of living together and having a daughter, the couple separated. Waldemar cited pressure regarding engagement as a factor in the split, while Dorota shared on social media that the difficult experiences have helped her become a stronger and more self-aware person.
