The Makassar District Court has sentenced former police officer Bripda Pirman to 15 years in prison for the murder of his junior, Bripda Dirja Pratama (19). The incident occurred at the South Sulawesi Regional Police dormitory.

Presiding Judge Angeliky Handajani ruled that the defendant was found guilty of murder under Article 458, paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2023 regarding the Criminal Code. The prosecution from the Makassar District Attorney's Office noted that the time already served in detention will be deducted from the total sentence.

Evidence presented in court included clothing, video recordings, and photographs of the victim at the RSUD Daya Makassar emergency room. The court also ordered the destruction of various pieces of evidence and assessed court costs to the defendant.
