Former St. Mary’s County Commissioner Tom Jarboe Dies at 57
Tom Jarboe, a former St. Mary’s County Commissioner and the Republican nominee for Commissioner President, died this week at Georgetown University Hospital from complications of end‑stage liver disease. He was 57. Jarboe, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, founded several defense‑contracting and international‑trade businesses, was named the St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year in 2013, and served as a volunteer EMT and fire lieutenant.
