Former Strawberry Group employee arrested for aggravated embezzlement

A former employee of Petter Stordalen’s Strawberry Group has been arrested and remanded in custody for aggravated embezzlement involving several million kroner. The man, in his 30s, has confessed to the charges and is cooperating with police investigators.

Oslo District Court ordered the individual to be held in custody for one week due to the risk of evidence tampering. According to court documents, a portion of the embezzled funds was allegedly distributed to other individuals. Police are currently planning further searches and interrogations as the investigation is in its early stages.

A spokesperson for Strawberry Group described the matter as a personnel issue involving a former employee and declined to provide further details due to the ongoing police investigation.
