Former Trabzonspor players struggle at new clubs

Former Trabzonspor players Felipe Augusto, Oleksandr Zubkov, and Christ Oulai are struggling to replicate their previous scoring form at their new clubs.

Felipe Augusto, who joined Zenit in Russia, has scored only one goal in 14 matches. The Brazilian striker noted that he is adjusting to a different playing system, stating, “I run, but the ball does not come.” He credited his former coach Fatih Tekke for his development at Trabzonspor but viewed the move to Zenit as a professional step forward.

Oleksandr Zubkov, now with AEK in Greece, has recorded one goal and one assist in nine matches. Meanwhile, Christ Oulai has yet to register a goal or assist in six appearances for Fiorentina in Italy.
