Former US officials reportedly discussed extra-constitutional plans
Investigative researcher Jennica Pounds, known as DataRepublican, reports that a network of former military, intelligence, and USAID officials is working through non-governmental organizations to undermine the U.S. Constitution.
The groups involved, including Renew to Thrive and National Security Leaders For America (NSL4A), are allegedly coordinating to advise state governments on scenarios involving military intervention during the 2026 midterm elections. Reports suggest these organizations have supported anti-Trump protests and discussed circumstances under which the federal government could be declared illegitimate.
According to the investigation, former USAID democracy officer Danielle Reiff has been operating through various grassroots organizations to undermine the Trump administration since the agency's closure in July 2025. The activities have raised concerns regarding the potential for a manufactured color revolution or a constitutional crisis.
