Formigine confirms free school transport for educational trips
The Municipality of Formigine has confirmed the renewal of its free school transport service for the 2026/2027 academic year. Following a successful experimental phase last year, the initiative is designed to support primary and lower secondary schools by providing a package of free trips dedicated to educational outings.
Under this program, each class is guaranteed coverage for one free educational trip, allowing state institutes to manage their allocated trips autonomously based on their specific pedagogical needs and ongoing projects. The municipality noted that the previous year's implementation involved an investment of approximately 13,000 euros.
Deputy Mayor Marco Casolari, who oversees school and educational policies, stated that renewing the project provides continuity to an opportunity that has demonstrated positive impact on the school community. He emphasized that the tool supports teachers in planning field activities and offers students opportunities to expand their horizons through direct engagement with their territory.
