Formosa agricultural and food production initiatives expand
In Formosa, Argentina, the Nutrifor company has produced and distributed 93,780 kilograms of food so far in 2026. This production supports the provincial Nutrir plan, which currently assists more than 18,500 families with food modules including fresh produce and processed goods like milk, pasta, and jams.
Additionally, the Formosa government has launched the 2026-2027 agricultural campaign for corn and cucurbits in Pirané. Coordinated by the Instituto PAIPPA, the initiative provides quality seeds, fuel for soil preparation, and technical assistance to more than 1,500 paippera families across various localities in the province.
