Formosa authorities advance hydrocarbon and artisanal production

Authorities from the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Treasury, the Secretariat of Science and Technology, REFSA, and the Federal Investment Council (CFI) conducted a tour of western Formosa to strengthen the local productive matrix. The mission focused on advancing research, development, and training agreements within the hydrocarbon sector, visiting strategic sites including the Palmar Largo field, the Surubí and Chivil fields, the Selva María area, and a lithium carbonate pilot production plant.

In addition to energy initiatives, the tour supported indigenous communities. In the towns of El Potrillo, Puerto Irigoyen, and Ingeniero G. Juárez, the first batch of Wichí handicrafts was received under the Champal brand. This project, supported by the CFI, involves technical assistance to develop gastronomic and residential items co-created by artisans and industrial designers.
