Formosa Hack 2026 programming ultramarathon begins

The third edition of the “Formosa Hack 2026” programming ultramarathon has commenced at the Instituto Politécnico Formosa (IPF) “Dr. Marcelo Alberto Zorrilla”. Located in the Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Pole, the 24-hour event features a record number of 170 students from four different localities within the province.

Participants are tasked with developing technological solutions for various challenges presented by the IPF research and development team, specifically targeting sectors such as education, health, and production. The event is supported by the provincial government and includes workshops led by representatives from organizations such as REFSA, the Digital Inclusion Center (CID), the Néstor C. Kirchner Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy Center, and UPSTI.

To support the intensive competition, organizers have provided comprehensive technical, psychological, and sanitary coverage, including meals and security services. IPF Director Horacio Gorostegui noted that this edition has reached a record level of participation, aiming to generate community impact through technological value.
