Formosa launches fifth “Letras del Viento Norte” literary contest

The fifth edition of the “Letras del Viento Norte” literary contest has officially launched in Formosa, Argentina. Organized by the Subsecretaría de Recursos Humanos as part of the Provincial Executive Power’s Public Employment Recognition Program, the competition is open to both active and retired provincial public administration employees.

The initiative includes a cycle of three workshops focusing on short stories and poetry, centered around the themes of identity and territory. A significant innovation for this year is the inclusion of employees from the provincial interior. Through coordination with the Instituto Superior del Profesorado de Arte de Formosa (ISPAF), more than 108 participants from inland areas can join the workshops virtually via streaming.

Subsecretary of Human Resources Gladis Mazza stated that the contest aims to provide visibility and value to state workers through artistic expression. The deadline for submitting works is September 10, with the announcement of mentions and the awards ceremony scheduled for September 17 to coincide with Public Employee Day.
