Formosa Students Tour Provincial Science and Technology Hub

On Wednesday, 29 March, seventeen 6th‑grade students from the Escuela Provincial de Educación Secundaria N° 32 in Lucio V. Mansilla visited the Polo Científico, Tecnológico y de Innovación in the city of Formosa, accompanied by teachers from their school.

The group was received by Subsecretary of Public Credit and Economic Programming Fabián Cáceres, Secretary of Science and Technology Camilo Orrabalis, and director of the Instituto Politécnico Formosa Horacio Gorostegui. Orrabalis told the news agency that the pupils learned about the centre’s activities, noting the presence of private companies such as Fermosa Biosiderúrgica, and expressed that the youngsters showed strong interest in scientific and technological studies offered by the IPF.

Antonia Bogarín, substitute director of EPES N° 32, highlighted the opportunity for the students to see the facility, hear academic proposals and feel greater enthusiasm for future careers. The pupils left eager to share with families and neighbours that Formosa is advancing its scientific and academic landscape.
